Training And Investment
Training is offered and undertaken at all levels of the business, from Directors to Trainee Account Handlers. As part of our Chartered Status, all client facing employees are members of the Chartered Institute of Insurance (CII), who provide a large aspect of the training. The majority of our team has a CII recognised qualification including Certificate (Cert CII), Diploma (Dip CII) and Advanced Diploma (ACII). The focus on investment in our people means the company sponsors the courses for the staff. Our people also receive training and coaching in a variety of soft skills that enable them to deliver a quality, professional service at all times.
In addition, our investment in staff can also be seen in the following ways;
- New entrants to the business are provided with a training plan, incorporating on the job training with online courses to assess basic knowledge in key areas
- We have an active Apprenticeship scheme. This has led to a number of apprentices going through their studies whilst learning ‘on the job’ and progressing within our business.
- We also offer NVQ level 3 in Retail Financial Services, and have had two staff members successfully achieve the award to date, with a third half way through their studies.
